South Burlington Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services in South Burlington, VT and surrounding communities, including spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, basement insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, and related services. The specific scope of any project is defined by a written estimate or contract agreed upon before work begins. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer or commitment to perform work.
All pricing is provided in a written estimate following an in-person assessment of your home or property. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing. Estimates are based on conditions observed at the time of the assessment. If site conditions differ materially when work begins - for example, due to hidden damage, access limitations, or changes in scope requested by the customer - the total cost may change. We will notify you of any changes before proceeding. No work will begin without your written or verbal authorization.
Once a start date is scheduled, we ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a trip fee to cover crew time and scheduling costs. We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather, equipment issues, or circumstances outside our control. We will notify you as soon as possible if a rescheduling is necessary.
Payment terms are outlined in your written estimate or service agreement. In general, payment is due upon project completion unless a different arrangement is confirmed in writing before work begins. We accept payment by check, cash, and common electronic payment methods as communicated at the time of invoicing. Overdue balances may be subject to a late fee. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services for non-payment.

We warrant that the work we perform will be completed in a workmanlike manner using materials appropriate for the project. Specific warranty terms, if any, will be outlined in your written service agreement. We do not warrant any particular energy savings outcome, rebate eligibility, or improvement to property value. The website and all information on it are provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees that the website will be error-free or continuously available.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, South Burlington Insulation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to our services or your use of this website. Our total liability for any claim related to a specific project shall not exceed the total amount paid for that project. Some states do not allow limitations on liability of this type, so these limitations may not apply to you.
